Art Journal for my daughter - October pages

The final bit I have that is actually relatively close to completion of the journal I am creating for my daughter. Tomorrow is the start of the new year so I will also be picking up a brand new journal and starting anew.

Once again, these are not finished pages, but getting close. I set myself the task to at least share to this point, and so I did. A good start to a new year. At least for me. :-)

Art Journal for my daughter - September pages

Here are the images for the September pages of the journal for my daughter. A whole lot less writing on these (as of yet) and mostly just flinging and spreading paint up to this point. I have a lot of back fill I need to do yet. I had better get going because the new year is right around the corner...and a whole new journal for my Heather is in the works.

IN the meantime, this IS helping me to get back on track (like I used to be, waaaay back when I was selling my art on a regular basis) It's interesting how this process has been, how important it actually has been and the very interesting psychological paths it has taken me down. Places I was not even aware I was having trouble with. So...a suggest everyone do it! :-) Just start somewhere, keep yourself on task...and just do. It really does start to work out for the better in more ways than you even imagined.

Art Joural for my daughter - August pages

Here are the pages from the month of August - The journal for my daughter. Now remember (unless you haven't seen the prior post :-) ) Some of these are finished, some are near finished and some need a bit more action. But I thought I'd share it up to show what I have been doing.

I may even get real frisky with showing unfinished works and share all of the other journals I have started. Yep, it's been that kind of thing for the last several months.

The Christmas Tree is finally up

I finally got the tree up. Record procrastination on my part as I usually put it up the day after Thanksgiving. I drug my feet around this year, but I finally did it. I thought I'd share some interesting revelations as I was taking pictures to share with family...It is amazing the difference between a super shot of light (the flash) and the ambient light to apature on a digital camera. A camera that is a wee bit old. 8 years old or so? I've lost track. Anyway. I ramble. Here is just a simple show of my tree this year.

Return to Innocence - Now available

I have finally been able to sit down and take some time to list some new art. It doesn't do me much good if I don't actually put it in my store, now does it? ;-)

So, without further adieu, here is one of the latest pieces I have put up. I hope to have more very soon.

Return to Innocence

Art Journal for my Daughter while she is gone

My sweet daughter went back to Wyoming with her grandpa to spend some time and I thought a great way for us both to stick with it as it pertains to creating would be to keep an art journal ongoing for the time she is gone. I'm a little behind, but I will catch it up and start a new one as well as I will be running out of pages into the beginning of the new year. After this one is finished up I will send it to her and she will send me hers. I love this kind of thing. We started this up in July so I'll share July's images here. Some are fully finished up, some will take on a tweak or two and some additional writing.

In the meantime, here is the month of July, starting with the 8th and the 9th.
